Search of Documents
In order to search documents in Italy we need to know the "Comune" exactly where the Italian born, because every city has about 100 different "comunes".
You must provide us with the following information
- Full Name of the Italian
- Parents (father and mother)
- Date or approximate year of birth
- Place of birth / Comune (municipality) or province (state)
- Marriage – If the Italian also married in Italy will be necessary the approximate date of marriage, as well as name, parents, approximate date of birth, place or province of his wife.
The basis to start research on the origin of your Italian ancestors, is in your own family, because it often provide everything you will need.
